UPDATE: A Queanbeyan Ambulance 077 is now on top of Big Jack (10:51am). Please observe emergency speed limits (40kmh). There is a large boulder on the road and smaller boulders on journey up. Road still passable, take care.
Crew Chiefs will be aware that water over causeway at 44km mark is about 20cm deep. Directors strongly recommend small/low vehicles detour. At the start of Big Jack Mountain Rd, DO NOT head towards Big Jack; continue on through Burragate to Wyndham and then via New Buildings Rd return to the course (approx 30min drive).
Apparently no floaties in a Mazda 3 size so Riordan’s team quick to take detour.
Rocky Hall parking changes, the NO parking area is marked with cones (grass before phone booth). Park instead after phone booth or instead on RHS.
